View of the exhibition, "The Monochrome Symphony –- Monochrome experiencies 100 years after Malevitj", Artipelag, 2015
In 1915, Kazimir Malevich painted his painting Black Square, which, a hundred years later, remains an icon for a century of radical aesthetics in art, design, fashion and music. Artipelag opened the autumn season with a monochrome event in honor of Malevich and his successors. Music and monochrome art are always associated and transmit it to us in the exhibition.
