Futurs... Matisse, Miro, Calder...

Centre de la Vieille Charité, Marseille, France

From the beginning of the 20th century to the present day, this exhibition will trace the links and influences shared between Art, Architecture, Science, Robotics, Science Fiction and Astronomy.
It will bring together more than one hundred works from around the world, from the most prestigious institutions, to present the futuristic universe of modern and contemporary artists.

Through three themes - "Metropolis", "The war of the worlds" and "The odyssey of space", the route will unfold in the exhibition rooms of the Old Charity which will welcome paintings, sculptures, photographs, with, as a highlight, a great installation in the architectural setting of the chapel of Pierre Puget.

This exhibition event is a fabulous artistic journey in the memory of the future and will tell the extraordinary adventure of modern art and its most innovative projects!
