This Fire Painting was made with the help of nude models. Yves Klein began by sprinkling young women with water. They then pressed onto the fireproof panel and then withdrew.
Equipped with a 40 kg flamethrower, the artist fired on the panel, which scorched except where the models had left the imprint of their bodies.
