These works were presented at the beginning of 1961 at the Museum Haus Lange in Krefeld (Germany) during a major retrospective.
The Wall of Fire is composed of fifty burners arranged in five rows of ten. The flames of each burner take the form of daisies and they break down the light in three colors evoking the personal trilogy of the artist, blue, pink and gold.
