The exhibition "Yves Klein, Intime" presents, for the first time in Aix-en-Provence, some sixty works (of which almost ten were never seen before) by the artist from Nice from a new angle.
Until now, attention has rarely been focused on the links between his own life and his bold, radical and broadly accessible creations. By looking back at the artist's family background and circle of friends, his workplace and his relationship with his models, the exhibition aims to highlight the material conditions of his work, the artist's intellectual reflections, his spiritual dimension, and the humor that often underlies the seriousness of his approach.
