The Collezione Giancarlo e Danna Olgiati opens its autumn 2024 season with “Yves Klein e Arman. Le Vide et Le Plein”, an unprecedented exhibition project that brings together for the first time the works of the two French artists, leading exponents of the celebrated ‘Nouveau Réalisme’ movement.
Both born in Nice, Yves Klein (Nice, 1928-Paris, 1962) and Arman (Nice, 1928-New York, 2005) were the protagonists of an intense season of highly innovative European and international art. In a fascinating “face to face” featuring sixty works, the exhibition highlights, for the first time, two antithetical and complementary aspects of the two masters' poetics, namely The Void and The Full.
The exhibition, curated by Bruno Corà, is produced in collaboration with the Fondation Yves Klein. The exhibition concept is by Mario Botta.
