... In 1957, Yves Klein declared that the whole earth was Blue.
To mark the occasion, he created a terrestrial globe in I.K.B. Blue Relief and levitated it in space off its base and axis to give it a better look... 4 years later... astronaut Gagarin declared in April 1961: ‘The terrestrial globe is an intense, deep blue!
